Women from the Southwest Region
gather in their communities. In addition
to having monthly or quarterly meetings
in many locations around the region
with inspirational speakers and worship,
we outreach onto a college campus in
Arizona; we have prayer groups, support
groups, Bible studies, and a book club;
we give a flight bag full of little
necessities to patients’ families when
they are sent to a hospital from an
outlying area by Care Flight in Nevada;
we have outreach events in New Mexico
during community celebrations, and we
minister in prisons and jails.
What goes on at an Aglow Lighthouse
meeting? There is no single answer to
that question since Aglow Lighthouses
have become as varied as the women themselves.
You might find fellowship and food,
music, opportunities for group or private
prayer, Biblical teaching, personal
sharing and women ministering to each
other. For sure, you will find loving
and caring women who will make you feel
welcome.
Aglow is for any woman who wants to
know Christ or who wants to grow in
her Christian faith. Aglow in the Southwest
region offers rich friendships, spiritual
encouragement and opportunities to deepen
your relationship with God.
